Weather-beaten wooden boat-sheds are commonplace on the shores of the Norwegian fjords. The distinctive rich red looks even better when it's old and peeling than when it's fresh, to my eye. It was the play of the vertical lines of the wooden planks, with the horizontal roofline and diagonals of the snow and mountains which made this boat-house stand out from the crowd.

Platinum Gloss Art Fibre is a gorgeous, tactile, heavyweight 300gsm exhibition quality paper. The paper’s archival quality makes it an ideal selection for limited edition prints where rich contrasty tones are required. Although it’s name suggests gloss, the paper surface is reminiscent of traditional wet darkroom papers, rather than modern ultra-glossy modern papers.
