The ruins of Corfe Castle are a dramtic landmark steeped in history. On a frosty winter morning like this, it's easy to allow your imagination run wild through the Purbeck landscape picturing the seiges which took place on the land before you. The skeletal trees layered down the valley could surely tell a few interesting tales.
I make no secret that Corfe Castle in Dorset is one of my favourite places in the world and one I will never tire of photographing. The castle has such an imposing presence from all directions and each has it's own charm and story to tell.
