There is something incredibly enchanting about British woodlands in Winter. The skeletal bare boughs and branches make the woodlands feel bigger and more airy. The cold, still and frosty mornings bring with them a sense of quiet and the pre-dawn blue hour really is fairy-tale inspiring.
This particular woodland is high upon a Dorset hilltop close to the coast. The hoar frost was so beautiful that I barely noticed the sub-zero temeratures as I explored the woodland with my camera.

Platinum Gloss Art Fibre is a gorgeous, tactile, heavyweight 300gsm exhibition quality paper. The paper’s archival quality makes it an ideal selection for limited edition prints where rich contrasty tones are required. Although it’s name suggests gloss, the paper surface is reminiscent of traditional wet darkroom papers, rather than modern ultra-glossy modern papers.
