Winter skies at the coast are often at their most dramatic, and the blustery weather has a way of bringing the rugged contours of Peveril Point to life. On this particular morning the clouds opened just enough for a surge of fiery colour to spread warm reds and pinks across the sea below. The shifting water caught the light beautifully, softening into gentle movement that contrasted with the power of the sky above. It was a great morning to be out in Swanage with the camera, creating a scene that feels both wild and peaceful in equal measure.
