Fine Art Prints

All my fine art prints are produced in-house. The printer I use is a wide format Canon Image Prograf PRO-4000 using genuine Canon Lucia Pro pigment inks, which provide the best colour quality, control, stability and lightfastness on the market. Custom made colour icc profiles are used to ensure the highest level of control of colour reproduction.

I print on a variety of different fine art papers, each chosen for its own characteristics to suit the individual images. They are all archival exhibition quality papers which will ensure a print life in excess of 85 years. You can read some information about the paper for each image in the section “The Print” on the product page.

Print Handling

I produce each print and inspect it carefully before signing and numbering the edition. It is then rolled in acid-free tissue paper and packed into a heavy-duty wide diameter tube for shipping.

If you are unfamiliar with handling large prints, I recommend, if possible, to leave this to your framer. Your framer will allow it to flatten out under a sheet of tissue and mount board and then dry mount it to a substrate to ensure it stays perfectly flat.

If you plan to unroll it yourself, it is essential to allow plenty of space on a clear, clean, flat surface. For larger prints in particular, it's easier with two people, to ensure it doesn't curl, crease or scratch. The prints are rolled with the curl of the paper (the way it is rolled for printing) with the image side facing out. It is essential not to try rolling it print side in, or in the opposite orientation as this will damage the print.

Delivery Information

UK shipping is FREE of charge on all UK orders.

Shipping on overseas orders will be charged at cost separately. It is not practical for me to pack and weigh one of each product and work out postage costs to every country. If shipping charges are similar to the UK postage charge no additional fee will be charged, but in cases where the shipping cost is significantly more I will charge the difference of UK postage and the cost of shipping to the destination at cost price and send a request for payment via PayPal.

You are liable for any import duty arising from shipping outside the UK.

Delivery Duty Unpaid for orders sent outside of the United Kingdom

All orders which are sent to countries other than the United Kingdom are shipped on a DDU (Delivery Duty Unpaid) basis and the recipient maybe subject to local taxes and customs import duty which is charged on the value of the order.

Payment of these fees is the sole responsibility of the customer.

Dispatch Times

Prints are produced to order, but please call or email if you're in a hurry so I can advise you of current turnaround.
