A stormy Winter's aternoon is often a good recipe for landscape photography, so I seized the opportunity to get out to one of my favourite parts of The Jurassic Coast. This rocky shore between Chapman's Pool and Pier Bottom is hard going, but offers some great views across towards Houns Tout and down this impressive stretch of coast. The conditions were challenging though as the onshore wind and crashing waves meant tat my lens and filters needed wiping clean in between almost every shot. This was my favourite of the day as, although it looks bright, you can see the stom clouds building up behind Houns Tout. Shortly after this image I was soaked through from a heavy shower and on the way back up the steep ath back to the coastal path got snowed on. The car had frozen up in the car park it had got so cold. For all that, it was a fantastic afternoon in the exhilerating conditions.
