Mupe Bay near Lulworth in Dorset is arguably one of the finest stretches of coast on The Jurassic Coast in Dorset. The layers of rock in the cliffs and dramatic stacks in the bay are stunning. This bay may only be accessed when the MOD ranges are open, so timing a trip here is less easy than other parts of the coast which are always open. This particular day started with very heavy rain and it was tempting to turn back, but after walking for 45 minutes decided it was better to hang around and see if the skies cleared. They did, briefly, so I managed to capture some really wonderful light bathing the cliffs in sunlight, which reflected more than usual as they were so wet from the rain.
